Who Is Mimsi Bags?

Many of our customers have asked who the ladies are that work behind the scenes to create everything that you see here. So, without further ado, here is a brief introduction for you!

Who our designers are, and what they do:

Jennifer Hudson
Jennifer is our fabric guru. She was taught to sew by her grandmother at a young age, and picked it up again after she got married. All of the bags, aprons, home decor stuff, etc are sewn by her in an office surrounded by walls lined with fabric - such wonderful inspiration. She also takes care of our website - designing, updating, photographing... you get the idea!

Youly Welt
Youly is our knitter extraordinaire... if it is knit on our site, she made it! She loves to create things of beauty out of yarns - be it scarves, cell phone cases, stocking caps, clothing and more.

Julie Miller
Julie is our amazing jewelry designer! Each piece is lovingly created by hand to make sure that it will last. She makes the whimsical wire-wrapped jewelry - each stone is carefully placed just where you want it - and the exquisite pearl jewelry.

Carole Fuller
Carole was our "specialty fabric diva" and dear friend. She loved to work with silks, velvets and vintage tassels and textiles. created all of our chiffon scarves, velvet wraps and velvet table runners. To our great sadness, Carole passed away in August, 2006. We have a few remaining pieces that she made, and once they are gone, there will be no more. All proceeds from their sale go to benefit her granddaughters.
