There are many ways to wear a scarf -
making them a keyhole, wrapping around your neck, using them under the
lapel of a jacket or dress coat, or draping them across your elbows.
Here are some tips for the more common
ways to wear your new scarf
Keyhole Scarf
- Fold the scarf in half lengthwise and wrap around your neck with
the loop on one side and the ends on the other
- Slip the ends of the scarf through the loop and pull gently to
tighten. The ends should fall around the middle of your
midriff.
You have just turned any long scarf into a keyhole scarf that
will stay in place without a clip or pin!
Neck-Warmer Scarf
- With the middle of your scarf around the front of your neck,
cross the ends behind your head and let them fall down the front
-or-
- With the middle of your scarf at the side of your neck,
cross the ends around the opposite side of your neck and let one
end drape down the front and the other down your back.
- If you have an extra long scarf, you can wrap it around a
couple of times and still have some to hang down - or wrap it
once & have a scarf that hangs to your knees!
Lapel Scarf
Every woman who has a dress coat knows that there
is nothing that sets it off quite like the perfect scarf! We
hope that our scarves will fit that bill for your favorite coat or
jacket!
- Simply slip your scarf under the lapel of your jacket and
let the ends fall down the front out from under the end of the
lapel.
- Go the extra mile by coordinating your accent scarf to the
outfit you are wearing underneath!
Mock Stole
Are you heading
out for a night on the town? Pick out an elegant scarf
(chiffon, velvet, Pashmina or crocheted will all work), drape it
across your back & let it rest on the inside bend of your elbows!
It will add a punch of color to your outfit & give you something to
help chase away the chill. |
